Local poet, 96 year old Antonio Lopez received the highest accolade from his home town to mark Book Week when a mural commemorating his work was officially inaugurated by the Mayor.
The mural, in the old part of Calasparra, was unveiled by the poet and the Mayor of Calasparra, Jose Velez, in a special ceremony during which Antonio Lopez took the time to sign some of his books for local residents.
