AFICA volunteers planting 75 pines and indigenous shrubs on the Sierra de San Miguel last Saturday with the help of more than 40 volunteers.
The tree planting was part of an Environmental Day organised by AFICA so participants would spend a day in contact with nature and take part in the environmental exercise.
AFICA have thanked the local Department of the Environment, the Alharabe Nursery in Moratalla, the Veterans of Calasparra, AD Blade Runners, the Basketball Teams of Calasparra and the Barcelona FC Fan Club for their collaboration.
