Calasparra has
signed the National Agreement on Domestic Violence, introduced the by PSOE
Government of Pedro Sanchez, which aims to make the tracking, monitoring and
protection for victims of domestic violence and their children more efficient,
quicker, integrated and effective.
The Mayor of Calasparra, Jose Velez, who is responsable for the programme “Viogen;”
the Government Delegate in Murcia, Diego
Conesa; Luisa Barrero, sergeant of the
local police; Miguel Ángel Martínez, Colonel Commandant of the Guardia Civil in
Calasparra; Jesús Arribas, of the Guardia Civil Brigade; and the Head of local Citizen
Security, Antonio Merino, attended the
signing ceremony.
The agreement is the result of an Organic Law of Protection Measures for DV
victims, which brings services together in multi-agency interventions, to give
DV victims protection on a country wide basis by integrating information,
predicting risk, tracking, monitoring and providing protection.
Agencies will also take part in prevention and raising alarms and warnings
through a Subsystem of Automated Notifications when an incident is detected or
a victim is identified as being in danger.
