There will be a minute´s silence at 12 midday today, February 12, in the Plaza de la Corredera, in tribute to the two officers of the Guardia Civil killed by drug traffickers yesterday in Cadiz.
The officers were chasing drug traffickers in the sea near the coast at Barbate when their boat was mowed down by the drug traffickers in a high power launch. Two officers were killed and another gravely injured.
The minute´s silence has been called by FEMP and is being observed by local and regional authorities all over Spain to show support for the families and recognition of the public service of the security forces.
