MET OFFICE RAISES WEATHER WARNING FOR TODAY TO ORANGE

The Met Office has raised the bad weather warning from Yellow to Orange, predicting 30 mm rain per hour with an accumulation of 100 mm over 24 hours.
The areas worst affected are likely to be the Vega del Segura, Valle del Guadalentín, Lorca and Águilas and the Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón.
However, continuous torrential rain is expected in Calasparra and the Met Office advises:

Check gutters and rain for blockages
Not to park cars in areas where water may run fast and take the vehicle with it
To avoid driving on non-main roads
Not to cross flooded areas either by foot or in a vehicle
