A bridge over the river Segura between Esparragal and the RM-714; amplification of the river beach project; and the renaturlization of areas along the river were all on the agenda when the Mayoress of Calasparra met the President of the Segura Water Board this week.
The Mayoress also requested the extension of the current white water canoeing facilities in Calasparra.
The President informed Teresa García that technicians would explore the viability of these requests on site.
Finally, they discussed the project to renaturalize the areas along the banks of the river Segura, financed by the EU, and which is due to start next year.
