The Mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez, and the El Quite Club of Calasparra have sent condolences to the bereaved family of the 28 year old matador, Victor Barrio, who died after being gored in the heart by a bull during a bull fight in Teruel.
Victor Barrio was awarded the Espiga de Oro at the 2010 Bull Fighting Fiestas in Calasparra.
His funeral was held this morning in Sepúlveda, Segovia.
