MAYOR CALLS FOR DAY CENTRE AND MORE PLACE IN THE OAPS RESIDENCE

The Mayor of Calaspàrra, Jose Velez, called for more places at the Esperanza Residence, a Day Centre, a Centre for Disabled People and more facilities at the Health Centre, during an official visit to the OAPs Residence yesterday.
The Mayor was accompanying the Head of the regional Department of Families and Equal Opportunities, Violante Tomás, on an official inspection of new facilitities at the Centre.
Also in the party were the Director General for Disabled People of IMAS,  Ana Gijarro; the Director General of ILUNION Social Health,  Pablo Martín; and the Director of the Centre,  Ana Helena Zapata.
The visitors were able to see the 82 authorized places, 62 of which are assisted by IMAS, through a 700,000 euro agreement. Some 11 others are managed by the Town Hall and the remainder are prívate.
