MASTERCLASS IN MURCIAN CUISINE

The children of Calasparra were treated to a masterclass in Murcian cuisine by a top chef in the second part of the workshops organised as part of The Murcia Region Spanish Capital of Gastronomy and the 1001 Flavour of the Murcia Region projects.
Chef, Antonio Carlos Nicolás, led the class with the participation of Choni Garcia Navarro of the Restaurante Coto los Riñales, Cristofer Corbalan Navarro of the Café Bar La Esquinica and Montse Cantero of the Restaurante Bar Cantero, and cooked the local rice dish, with rabbit and snails
Parents and grandparents accompanied the children in this, the first of 29 activities of this type being organised in different towns in the region to promote traditional gastronomy.
