The next date on the municipal walking calendar is the VIII March Against Domestic Violence next Sunday, November 23.
The Department of Equality has included the march as part of the programme to call attention to the dramatic situation of many women in the world.
The local Head of Equality, Alfonsa Egea, has also announced that on November 25, the World Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, there will be a special programme on Radio Calasparra.
The March will leave the Plaza de la Corredera at 11am and will pass through C/ Vázquez, Iglesia de Los Santos, C/ San José Castillo, Teatro Abierto, Gran Vía Vieja, Ctra. Mula, Puente Nuevo and the Sendero del Argos to the Cuesta Blanca. The manifesto against domestic violence will be read in the Teatro Abierto.
