MABS, the local charity that supports and provide services to those with cancer and their family and friends, have officially opened a Charity Shop in the former SEF premises in the Gran Via, Calasparra.
The Mayoress, Teresa Garcia, attended the official opening and cut the ribbon in a short ceremony.
The charity is dependent on donations to function and has been holding a stall in Friday’s market in Calasparra. The Charity Shop is a new fund-raising venture that depends on donations of goods in good condition to sell.
MABS volunteers have done a magnificent job mounting an attractive display of donated goods, including furniture, children’s and adult clothes, ornaments and much more. All at incredible prices!!
