Two people were arrested with 120 doses of heroin and 40 grammes of marujana after local police in collaboration with the Guardia Civil stopped their car in the Esparragal area of Calasparra.
According to official sources a 29 year old Spanish woman, initals C.M.M. and a 29 year old Spanish man, intials V.M.M, both from Calasparra, were arrested last week after their car was stopped by a patrol and the drugs were found during a search.
The arrests are part of the Campaign by the Department of Police and Citizen Security to erradicate the sale of drugs in Calasparra and were the fruit of various arrests for possesion of drugs in the area which have facilitated the police dismantling various points of sale.
The suspects will appear before magistrates in Caravaca.
