Two national fiesta days fall next week, Tuesday and Friday, and many will make the most of a long weekend, thus the local market will be held on Thursday instead of Friday.
Tuesday is the Day of the Spanish Constitution and Friday is the Day of the Immaculate Conception: both are national holidays.
These fiestas are known as the «December bridge» as many take a long weekend. However, it would seem more like a viaduct than a bridge this year as it is habitual to start the «bridge» on the Day of the Constitution and all the days between to include the weekend.
Expect shops etc to be closed Tuesday and Friday. Bars and restaurants will be open.
