Calasparra Library has been selected as one of the 300 best libraries in Spain and will receive a lot of 150 books as a prize.
The National Reading Campaign, “María Moliner,” has chosen the local library for its Project, “Discover Reading” and is amongst 12 municipal areas in Murcia to be awarded a prize.
The prize is in the gift of the Ministry of Education, the Spanish Federation of Municipal Areas and Provinces, and the Coca Cola Foundation.
The jury singled out the library of Calasparra for the “originality of its activities, which enables the whole community to take part, and the good use of social networks to promote its campaign.”
