Some 8,000 local residents in the residential areas around the river Argos will benefit from improvements to the sewerage system approved by the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and the Environment this week.
The work will be carried out in the Calle Daya to install new pipes 478 metres long and 80 centimetres wide.
The work, costing 155,654 euros, is partly funded by the EU Cohesion Fund.
