Almost 1000 houses were sold in the region of Murcia during June, the 11th highest nationally.
There were 79 property transactions for every 100 residents in the region, slightly above the national average of 67, according to the National Statistics Institute, in total 901 sales.
In addition some 171 “fincas” (country properties) were sold per one hundred residents: a total of 1,950 sales.
Out of the 901 house sales, 838 were freehold properties and 63 protected housing: of these 515 were new houses and 386 were second hand properties.
Nationally property sales fell by 11.4% in June compared to the same month last year. Of the 25,405 transactions 53.3% were second hand properties and 47.7% new properties.
