A few drops of very welcome rain cooled things off after a hot, hot day, today, but according to the Met Office, tomorrow, Tuesday may be hotter.
The Met Office have issued an Yellow Weather Warning for high temperatures in the Calasparra area for Tuesday with temperatures expected to be 40 centigrade or more.
Readers are reminded to take the usual precautions in the heat: stay out of the sun at the hottest times; avoid alcohol; dress in cool, loose clothes; and if you must go out, wear a hat, sunglasses, and sun cream of 50 or over.
