AEMET, the Met Office, have issued a Yellow Weather Warnig for today, Tuesday May 13, for torrential rain and storms between 12 midday and midnight.
The warning covers the North West Murcia region, that includes Calasparra, and warns of a 40% to 70% percent probability of 15 mm of rain per square metre per hour.
Current advice is to keep informed of the weather forecast; check drains and downpipes; keep away from currents of water and flooded areas; and avoid driving/cycling unless absolutely necessary.
