A 38 year old Calasparrian man, a regular runner, suffered a head injury during the third bull run on Tuesday and was taken to Caravaca Hospital.
José Angel Lopez Garcia, known as “chichi” hit his head on the wall of the entrance to the bull ring. He was attended at the field hospital and was fitted with a collar before being transferred to hospital as a precaution.
Last year Chichi was gored by a bull during the run sustaining an injury in his buttock which almost reached the bone.
Also injured during Tuesday´s run was a 36 year old man from Blanca who suffered bruising and grazes after colliding violently with one of the bulls.
The run lasted just two minutes and five seconds.
