Due to the freezing temperatures and snow affecting the North West region of Murcia the Government Delegate and the Red Cross have issued a warning to motorists not to use roads and motorways affected by ice and snow after 8pm over the weekend.
The roads affected are the RM-702 (Barranda-Nerpio), the RM-703 (Moratalla-Campo de San Juan), the RM-730 (Caravaca-La Puebla de Don Fadrique), the RM-714 (Jumilla-Caravaca) and the N-344 (Jumilla-Yecla). Also affected are the A-91 (Puerto Lumbreras-provincial limit with Almería) and the access road to the Sierra Espuña.
