If you are fit enough to run 14 kilometres you are invited to take part in a Grand Run around some of the most emblematic and beautiful parts of Calasparra: if you´re not fit enough to run there is a parallel walking route.
The invitation to take part in this dual event, around natural beauty spots such as the Sanctuary and the paddy fields, was extended by the organisers of these sporting events at an oficial presentation this week.
Organised by the group, Blade Runners and the local Sports Department, the event will be held on November 15. There will also be other sports events organised over this weekend.
The Mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez, the President of the regional Federation of Athletics, Juan Manuel Molina, and the President of the Sanctuary Foundation, Antonio José Egea, attended the presentation held in the Town Hall.
Anyone interested in taking part should ask at the Town Hall as there is currently no further information available. When it becomes available it will be published on this webpage.
