The Health Education Group’s has taken up the gauntlet to teach local school children how to give, educate and save money this Christmas as part of their schools programme.
During December pupils from all local schools will learn the importance of choosing the correct gift under the slogan: “We want toys to play with not to leave in a corner.”
Parents are also encouraged to select gifts which are appropriate for the age and intelligence of their children. They are also warned of the dangers of giving inappropriate toys, especially to small children. The number of gifts per child should also be limited to encourage children to choose carefully.
