Funeral
costs have been frozen and must not exceed prices paid on March 14, 2020, that
is before the State of Alarm.
Funeral directors and undertakers must present detailed bills and also provide
a list of prices as of March 14 2020.
If you have been overcharged for a funeral, ie. at higher prices than the price
list for March 14, 2020, the difference must be refunded to you.
You have six months from the date of the end of the State of Alarm to claim
your refund.
If companies overcharge or refuse to refund this will be considered an offence
in law.
