The former Mayor of Calasparra, Jesus Navarro, who is facing trial concerning the contracts to build the new Nursery in Calasparra, must pay for his own defence.
The Judge has refused to allow Calasparra Town Hall to pay for the former Mayor´s defence and has annulled the decree allocating a municipal lawyer to Navarro.
Another former Mayor, Pepe Velez, has been cleared of any responsibility in the case.
