The storm yesterday left 22.3 litres of rain per square metre in Calasparra treating the residents of La Florida to a rare and spectacular double rainbow over the Sierra del Molino.
The torrential rain was accompanied by hailstones, creating a white blanket on the sunny side of the Sierra.
