The Fiestas of the Patron Saints of Calasparra are as traditiional as they are unique and bring colour, music and a mountain of flowers.
Following the processiion in traditional rural costume typical of the Murcia region, which is known as the garden of Spain, the ceremony of floral tributes to the Saints was held in the Saints church yesterday.
The religious Brotherhood of the Patron Saints organised the procession and the special mass, which was sung by the Rondalla of Calasparra.
During the ceremony, which included traditional music and dance, the residents and associations of the town queued to present their floral tributes filling the church with flowers.
