The first game of the new year for GH Seguridad Calasparra FC on Sunday in the Caverina and the locals lost to league leaders in the Preferente Autonómica of the Murcia Region.
Under their new manager and newly promoted this season, Calasparra had a glum afternoon suffering a 2 -8 defeat against Mazarrón.
Calasparra remain the team with the most goals scored against them to the new league.
