Homage was paid to the former chef at the Sanctuary in a special ceremony dedicated to the farmers who produce Calasparra rice.
The ceremony coincided with the International Day of Rice on October 31 at the Rice Grower´s Fountain when the first sprigs of rice, “The Golden Sprig of 2021” was presented to the sons of Jesús López Martínez, for his contribution to the promotion of our local product during his 33 years as chef at the local Sanctuary.
