Magnificent results for Calasparra as two local sisters climb the podium in the National Slalom Canoe Championships for promising young canoeists held in Calasparra at the weekend.
Calasparrian, Elia Cuadrado Zapata, current national champion in canoe women child section, has won the title for the second year running.
Her sister, Jimena Cuadrado Zapata, took third place in the canoe women cadet section. This year is her final year in the cadet section where she has climbed the podium many times, winning cups including in the National Championships.
Also reaching the finals in their events were local canoeistsa, Laia Rodríguez, Francisco López, María Martínez, Joaquín Salinas, Diego Moya, David Marín and Pablo Martínez.
