As is traditional, Calasparra has taken part in the Parade of the Market Garden Bands, part of the Spring Fiestas of Murcia celebrated this week.
Calasparra Town Hall organised local participation in the Fiestas with a float incorporating all the local products, the Cultural and Folklore Rondalla of Calasparra and Jose Angel Moya representing the Rice Growers.
Many Calasparrians in typical traditinal Market Garden costumes of the region danced and sang the most popular traditional songs of Calasparra during the parade.
