As the Met Office warns of another heatwave this weekend the regional Health Authority is advising people to be extremely careful during the high temperaturs.
Today, Saturday, temperatures are expected to reach 38C and tomorrow, 40C.
The advice is to stay out of the sun, drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol, and eat light meals in order to avoid heatstroke.
If you have to go out try use a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen and aim for the cooler hours in the early morning or late evening.
Vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly and the ill are particarly vulnerable to the heat and require particular vigilance.
