Calasparra Town Hall has obtained the SELLO INFOPARTICIPA, in the gift of the Autonomous Univesity of Barcelona, that certifies «transparency and quality of local public communiation».
This recognition, with a valoration of 92%, positions Calasparra amongst the most transparent municipal areas in the region,
along with Águilas, Cartagena, San Pedro del Pinatar and Alcantarilla.
The Town Halls have been evaluated on the base of 52 indicators that measure aspects such as the accessibility of information, the management of public resources and the tools of citizen participation.
Calasparra is the only municipal area in the North West region of Calasparra to receive this valuation this year and is the municipal area «best valued» in the Murcia region with less than 20,0000 inhabitants.
The Sello Infoparticipa is an initiative of the Press and Communications Laboratory of Citizens Rights that evaluates the transparency of Town Hall webpages all over Spain.
