Local police offices have detained a man on charges of trafficking drugs in Calasparra.
Yesterday evening Local Police carrying out a routine patrol noticed the suspect park his vehicle and attempt to make his escape rapidly on foot on seeing the police. The officers gave chase, apprehended the suspect and on the first search found various grammes of «Mdma/Metamphetamine» and a large quantity of cash.

The suspect was arrested, charged and will appear before amgistrats. The drugs and money were confiscated.
