Calasparra will have a Film Office and become part of the regional and national network of municipal areas offering natural and cultural patrimony to film companies.
Calasparra Town Hall and the Institute of Cultural Industries and Performing Arts (ICA) have signed an agreement this week to open the Film Office Calasparra with the aim of establishing the necessary basis for the promotion of the audio visual industry through the adequate development and execution of the project and attract film companies to «shoot» in Calasparra.
The Mayoress of Calasparra, Teresa Garcia, and the Director Geneal of ICA,, Manuel Cebrián, signed the agreement in the Musuem of the Villa and agreed to combine forces to demonstrate to the film industry that there were fantastic scenarios for their films in Calasparra and the Murcia region and adminstrations which would provide the best conditions for shooting them.
