The Met Offide has issued an orange alert for high temperatures tomorrow, Sunday, between midday and 8pm in the evening.
The thermometers are likely to register highs of more than 40 degrees in what is expected to be the hottest day of the year so far.
Readers are advised to avoid exposure to the sun during the hours of the alert, to drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol and eat light meals.
A siesta would seem to be the order of the day!!
