The European Central Bank is to introduce a series of new euro notes, including a new 50 euros note which will be put into circulation on April 4, 2017 (see photo).
The 5, 10 and 20 euro notes have also been redesigned.
The colour of the notes has been slightly changed and a hologram added to both sides of the notes to make copying them more difficult.
