The opposition, Partido Popular, has been fined 900 euros for alleged fraud because there is no water meter at the new headquarters.
Apparently the Water Company was carrying out a routine fraudulent water meter inspection when they discovered the property was connected to the water network without the installation of a meter.
Once the irregularity was discovered the water supply was cut off and a charge of more than 900 euros was issued.
The spokesperson for the local PP, Maria Marin, claims that the owner of the property is responsible for the alleged fraud. “We know nothing about it,” she added.
