The sky above Calasparra was full of a hundred tiny lights on Christmas Eve as local residents exchanged food and toys for Chinese lanterns in the name of charity.
The event was staged by the local Red Cross as part of the food and toy collection for the less fortunate residents of the town.
More than a hundred local people gathered in the Convent Square to make donations and to light up the sky with Christmas cheer.
