Minimum temperatures will falll to below zero for most of this week and, although it will be sunny, day time temperatures will not rise above 10 degrees.
Wrap up warm if you are going out to celebrate the New Year as it is likely to be cold very cold: about three degrees under.
However, by next week the cold snap should have moved on and nighttime temperatures should not fall below zero. From next Monday expect warm sun shine with balmy temperatures during the day of 17 to 18 degrees.
The Met Office is predicting a milder than usual winter, a few degrees above the average, in the Murcia region.
