SECOND HALF PENALTY SECURES THREE POINTS FOR LOCAL TEAM

Calasparra struggled in the first half against eighth place At. Pulileño but, low in the league and with eight consecutive games without a single point the home team were desperate for points.

After several unsuccessful attempts at goal in the first half it was a second half penalty which gave brought the home team victory and ensured another week in 16th place.

A minute’s silence was observed at in memory of two local men who died last week following a tragic road traffic accident.

Teams were:

Calasparra FC: Iván, Viti Gómez, Antonio Romero, Arturo, Cristian, Carlos Terol, Cuco,Santi, Saura, Partal, Pedrín.

Pulpileño: Juan Fran, Alex Miñarro, Xavi, Ramón, Miñan, Israel Mamoy, Javi Méndez, Marcos, Salas Alex

Result: Calasparra 1 –  Pulpileño 0
