EXHIBITION BY BRITISH ARTIST IN THE RICE MUSEUM

The exhibition «Impossible Flowers (Flores imposibles), by a British artist living in Calasparra, Rebecca Ann Wills, is opening at the Rice Musuem in Calasparra.
The colour, light and natural surroundings of the South East of Spain can be found in this new exhibitiion of paintings.
In «Impossible Flowers», the artist uses flowers as an excuse to enter into colour and abstract painting. These works are full of energy that flow from clear figures to loose and expressive compositions drifting between intuition and the moment.
Rebecca Ann Wills graduated in Fine Arts and has a doctorate from Bristol University where she investigated colour and abstract art. She is inspired by abstract expression and gesturalism and has found Calasparra the perfect environment to experiment with light and colour.
The official opening ceremony will be on Monday November 16 at 8.30pm in the Museo de la Villa of Calasparra in Calle Mayor. The exhibition runs until November 28.
Opening Hours are Tuesday to Friday 8am to 1.30pm and Saturdays 10am to 1.30pm.
