Calasparra Town Hall has launched an information campaign about the new brown rubbish recycling container that will come to Calasparra soon.
For the second week runnning an Information Point was set up on the Friday Market to prepare residents for the arrival of the new container.
However, as many of our readers are not fluent Spanish speakers here is some information about how to use the container.
The theory behind the new container is to separate organic waste that can be recycled as compost.
Here is a list of the waste you will be able to recycle in the new container:
Remains of fruit and vegetables
Peel and shells
Cafe grains, tea bags and leaves
Used paper napkins
Small garden waste
Corks
