Calasparra Town Hall has begun work to erradicate insects and disinfect the sewages systems in all the parts of the municipal area including the urbanisations.
The Municipal Services begun the annual campaign to control cockroaches last week and the work will continue into next week.
Residents can contribute to the fight against plagues by employing good practice in urban hygiene including throwing residues in the municipal rubbish containers during the hours established by the Town Hall and not abandonding rubbish in the streets, comments a Town Hall spokesperson.
