This is just a shout to anyone who has renewed their residency or exchanged their old card/green certificate for a TIE.
Please remember to take your new card to your bank as soon as you can or they may freeze your account.
The banks don´t always do this as soon as your current residency certificate/card expires. This could be because they don´’t notice or because their main branch has not notified them.
However, if you are in possession of an expired residency card or have a new card and have not registered it with your bank they may freeze your account at any time without any explanation or warning!
