During this week Municipal Services are treating areas where the processionary caterpillar has nested in public and leisure areas of Calasparra.
The product used is authorized by the Ministry of Environment for use in natural spaces.
However, everyone should be careful with their pets in parks and gardens. Do not let your dogs off the lead as they couold eat or sniff the caterpillars on the ground which may cause severe health problems.
