At just before 7am this morning the emergency services were called to a road accident in Calasparra on the RM 714 after a van and a car had collided and some of the injured were trapped in the vehicles.
The accident happened at the 33 kilometre point of the Calasparra – Venta Olivas Road. Six injured people were transferred to hospitals in Caravaca and Cieza.
The Guardia Civil and ambulances attended the scene and fire fighters were called to release the injured people trapped in the vehicles. Some of the passengers managed to get out of the vehicles by themselves.
There is no information on the condition of the injured.
