Calasparra rice was officially presented at the first International Fayre of Rice in Canet-en-Roussillon, FERIARRÒS, France, last weekend.
The Mayoress, Teresa Garcia, accompanied by the Head of the Rice Cooperative, Campo Virgen de la Esperanza of Calasparra, Juan Antonio Cantero Pérez, and Tereesa Salinas, Head of the local Department of Education, took part in the Fayre where many of the worldś best rice chefs were present.
Calasparra rice was one of the grand protagonists of the day given that it is considered the best rice in the world by many of the best rice chefs.
