October 1 is the International Day of Senior Citizens and Calasparra Town Hall will hold a special ceremony in the Plaza Emilio Perez Piñero to mark the occasion.
The Town Hall with the Red Cross will pay homage to those «who are the heart of Calasparra, the hsitory and memory of our town.»
It is a day to reflect on the challenges of growining old and to defend the rights and dignity of our senior citizens by fighting all forms of discrimination for rason of age, always encouraging their active participation in our society.
The Town Hall and the Red Cross invite you to the ceremony, with the Cultural Assocition the Rondalla of Calasparra, and the reading of a manifesto at 6.30pm in the Plaza Emilio Perez Piñero.
