Subscriptions are open for the annual Mountain Half Marathon, Memorial Antonio de Bejar, to be held in Calasparra on May 6.
If you are up for a shorter event there is also a 10.5 kilometre run over the mountains.
This is the XVIII «Mountain Media Marathon» to be held locally.
The start for the Mountain Half Marathon is at 6pm and the shorter run (10.5k) at 6.30pm.
Over the years various British residents or visitors have taken part in this gruelling event, which is run over the mountains above Calasparra and includes the Sierra del Molino.
