New data shows that there were a massive 595 new cases of Covid-19 diagnosed in the Murcia region in the last seven days, more than four times as many as last Wednesday´s statistics.
Sadly, there were two deaths from Covid-19 and 36 people hospitalized with the virus, of which two were admitted to intensive care over the same period.
The regional Health Authority has also published the total number of Covid in the region cases since the pandemic began. According to these figures there was a total of 456,636 cases of the virus in the region and, in the over 60´s group, there were 84,942 cases.
In Calasparra, in the seven days before October 2, there was one case of Covid registered in the Over 60´s and two cases in the all age group.
